about our classes

Four individuals participating in a workout at a gym, hanging from pull-up bars within a workout rack, one person on the far left doing a push-up with feet on the bar, the second person doing a pull-up, the third person standing and supporting the second, and the fourth person standing and holding onto the bar.

Strength & Conditioning

Each class is split into a strength component and a conditioning piece. Strength training helps maintain muscle mass as we age, with benefits like improved bone health, better posture, enhanced sleep, and fat loss. The conditioning portion combines weights, resistance training, bodyweight movements, and steady-state cardio to elevate your heart rate, strengthen muscles, and boost overall fitness and health.

Barbell Club

This class is for anyone wanting to improve their Olympic lifts. Barbell classes run 3 times a week, each lasting about 90 minutes. Programs are tailored to individual needs, and athletes can compete in open weightlifting competitions 2-4 times a year, though participation is optional. This class is an add-on to standard membership pricing.

Teen Fit

Our teen class is open to kids aged between 11-14 years old and is a scaled back -version of our adult Strength & Conditioning sessions, aimed at introducing teens to the gym space, teaching them the fundamentals of lifting weights and how to move safely.

Engine Room

Designed for those looking to boost their cardio fitness, these moderate-to-high intensity sessions make you sweat, elevate your heart rate, and get you moving. It's not just running – we incorporate weights and resistance training at lighter weights to enhance aerobic fitness. As you get fitter, you can increase weights or repetitions at a faster pace. Benefits include weight loss, decreased blood pressure, improved lung function, and a lower resting heart rate.

Active Kids

Active Kids is a class aimed at just getting kids moving. We’ll teach them some fundamental exercise basics, disguised as activities and games, to help them develop coordination, balance, body awareness and confidence. It’s open to kids aged 8-10 years old, and suitable for any level of ability or fitness.
